All data comes from your personal Closai account. Claude can only read your inventory — it cannot add, modify, or delete anything.

How to Connect

Setup takes under two minutes. You will need the Closai app installed with at least one item in your inventory.

Claude Desktop & Claude.ai

    Find Closai in the marketplace

    Open Claude Desktop or visit claude.ai, then go to Settings → Integrations and search for Closai in the marketplace.

    Add the integration

    Click Add on the Closai listing. No URL or manual configuration needed.

    Sign in to Closai

    A browser window will open. Sign in with your Google account or email and password, then tap Authorize.

    Start chatting

    Go back to Claude and start a new conversation. Your inventory is ready.

Claude Desktop version 0.7 or later is required. Go to Help → Check for Updates if you don't see the Integrations option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Claude remember my inventory between conversations?

Yes. Every time you ask Claude about your inventory, it fetches the latest data live from your Closai account. If you add a new item in the app, Claude will see it immediately in the next conversation.

Can Claude add or delete items from my inventory?

No. The Closai integration is entirely read-only. Claude can search and display your product data, but it cannot create, modify, or delete anything. All changes must be made in the Closai app.

Is my data safe?

Your data is only shared with Claude during an active conversation and only when you explicitly ask a question that requires it. Closai uses OAuth 2.0 to authorize access.

You can revoke Claude's access at any time from the Closai app under Settings → Connected Apps.

How do I disconnect Closai from Claude?

Two ways: in Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Integrations, find Closai, and click Remove. Or in the Closai app, go to Settings → Connected Apps, find Claude, and tap Revoke Access — this immediately blocks all future access.

Which account do I sign in with?

Use the same Google account or email and password you used when you created your Closai account. A mismatched account will show a "no account found" error.

I don't have a Closai account — how do I create one?

Create your account before connecting to Claude — sign-up is not available inside the connection flow. You can register at web.closai.io or download the Closai app from the App Store.

Once your account is set up, come back to Claude and follow the connection steps above.

Is there a Closai integration for Claude Code?

Not yet — but it's coming soon. Announcements go out by email, so make sure you have an account and keep an eye on your inbox.

Do I need to sign in every time?

No. After the first sign-in, Claude Desktop keeps you logged in automatically. You should not need to sign in again unless you manually revoke access or reinstall Claude Desktop.

My inventory has hundreds of items — can Claude search all of them?

Yes. Closai uses semantic search, so Claude can find items even when you describe them loosely — "something light and flowy for summer" will match linen tops and sundresses. For large inventories, adding specific filters like color, brand, or category helps surface the most relevant results faster.

Why does Claude sometimes show fewer items than I expect?

Results are paginated to keep responses readable. If Claude mentions more results are available, ask it to show more, or narrow down your query with filters.

Troubleshooting

The integration does not appear in Claude Desktop
Make sure you are on Claude Desktop version 0.7 or later. Check for updates under Help → Check for Updates, then try adding the integration again.

Sign-in page says "Account not found"
Open the Closai app first to confirm you're signed in, then retry using the same method (Google or email and password) that you used when you created your account.

Claude says it cannot access my inventory
Try removing and re-adding the Closai integration in Claude Desktop settings — this triggers a fresh sign-in. If the issue persists, check that Closai appears as an active connected app under Closai app → Settings → Connected Apps.

Claude returns empty results even though my inventory has items
No products matched the current filters. Try a broader query — instead of "navy blue Zara blazer", just try "blazer" first. Also confirm the items are visible in the Closai app and not archived.

Outfit recommendations don't feel relevant
Add more context — instead of "what should I wear?", try "what should I wear for a casual brunch on a warm sunny day?" The more detail you give, the better the suggestions. Also make sure your products have photos and categories filled in inside the Closai app.

The response is cut off mid-way
Large inventories can produce very long responses. Ask Claude to be more specific — "show me only my blue tops" rather than "show me everything". You can also ask Claude to continue from where it left off.

I get a "session expired" error mid-conversation
Simply send a new message — Claude Desktop automatically re-establishes the session. If this happens frequently, try removing and re-adding the integration to force a fresh sign-in.
