Setup takes under two minutes. You will need the Closai app installed with at least one item in your inventory.
Open Claude Desktop or visit claude.ai, then go to Settings → Integrations and search for Closai in the marketplace.
Click Add on the Closai listing. No URL or manual configuration needed.
A browser window will open. Sign in with your Google account or email and password, then tap Authorize.
Go back to Claude and start a new conversation. Your inventory is ready.
Here are some things you can say to Claude once Closai is connected. Just talk naturally.
Yes. Every time you ask Claude about your inventory, it fetches the latest data live from your Closai account. If you add a new item in the app, Claude will see it immediately in the next conversation.
No. The Closai integration is entirely read-only. Claude can search and display your product data, but it cannot create, modify, or delete anything. All changes must be made in the Closai app.
Your data is only shared with Claude during an active conversation and only when you explicitly ask a question that requires it. Closai uses OAuth 2.0 to authorize access.
You can revoke Claude's access at any time from the Closai app under Settings → Connected Apps.
Two ways: in Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Integrations, find Closai, and click Remove. Or in the Closai app, go to Settings → Connected Apps, find Claude, and tap Revoke Access — this immediately blocks all future access.
Use the same Google account or email and password you used when you created your Closai account. A mismatched account will show a "no account found" error.
Create your account before connecting to Claude — sign-up is not available inside the connection flow. You can register at web.closai.io or download the Closai app from the App Store.
Once your account is set up, come back to Claude and follow the connection steps above.

No. After the first sign-in, Claude Desktop keeps you logged in automatically. You should not need to sign in again unless you manually revoke access or reinstall Claude Desktop.
Yes. Closai uses semantic search, so Claude can find items even when you describe them loosely — "something light and flowy for summer" will match linen tops and sundresses. For large inventories, adding specific filters like color, brand, or category helps surface the most relevant results faster.
Results are paginated to keep responses readable. If Claude mentions more results are available, ask it to show more, or narrow down your query with filters.
